Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with milestone. We want you to feel confident in every purchase. Below is our return and refund policy, which complies with UK law.


📦 Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

  • You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you return instructions and the return address. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

🚚 Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.


We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.


Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


🧾 Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery.
Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so we can make it right.


🚫 Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants)

  • Personal care items (e.g., beauty products)

  • Custom or personalised products

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We also do not accept returns on:

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

🔄 Exchanges

The quickest way to get what you want is to return the item you have, and then place a new order once the return is accepted.


🇬🇧 UK & EU Customers – Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If your order is being delivered to the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification, under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Items must be returned in the same condition you received them, unworn or unused, with tags, and in original packaging.


💰 Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the refund status.
If approved, your refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

  • If it has been more than 15 business days since we approved your return and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at rebecca@shop-milestone.com.
